How do I register my card for cash back?
You can register one or many cards through the app. Once registered, every time you shop at a participating location using a registered card, you get rewarded with instant cash back.
How many cards can I register for cash back?
SPENT lets you link as many eligible credit and debit cards as you'd like. We have a partnership with Empyr who operates the technology that powers the cash back. If the card you're registering is enrolled in another Empyr-operated program, you will be prompted to register another card for the SPENT Cash back program or deactivate your card in the other Empyr-operated program.
How does SPENT ensure my information remains secure and private?

Does PayPal share my card information, account information etc. with SPENT?
No. PayPal does not share any confidential information about your card or account with us.
I forgot my username or password. What now?
Forgot your password? Click the forgot password link from the login page. Forgot your username? Shoot us an email at email@example.com and we’ll help you get back in.
Does my account ever expire?
Your account will not expire. If you are inactive for several months you may need to import your transactions again but your account will remain live.
Can I change my email address?
Yes. We are happy to help you change your email. Simply send your current and new email to us via the contact us and we will update that for you.
How many banks are partnered with SPENT?
We are partnered with over 19,000 banks. Stay tuned, as we are working on including European banks soon.

What is Quickbooks integration?
If you use Quickbooks Online we can automatically send payment transactions made with built in reimbursement directly to your Quickbooks accounting system. Details of the expenses being reimbursed will be recorded in Quickbooks Online. Currently integration is available for Quickbooks Online only.
How do I enable Quickbooks?
Enabling Quickbooks Online is simple. First, enable and configure built-in reimbursement on your SPENT dashboard. From there follow the prompts on our integrations page. Allow SPENT to access your Quickbooks account, then pick the specific bank account in Quickbooks you want to use for reimbursement. Then, map SPENT categories to specific general ledger accounts in Quickbooks online and you are ready to go.
How do I create folders to organize my documents?
From the menu bar on the app select Browse Folders, then tap create folder on the bottom of the screen to add a new folder. You can also designate that folder as your default before saving it.
How can I create expenses for cash purchases?
To create an expense from a cash purchase, snap an image of the receipt to create the transaction. No receipt? No problem, just tap “New cash expense” to manually enter details into the expense editor.
Why was my expense rejected?
Open the expense to read the rejection explanation from the approver. If more information is needed, we recommend you contact the approver directly for more details. We’re currently working on a way for you to speak directly to your approver within app.
I deleted an expense or report by accident. How can I get it back?
Woops! Luckily all deleted expenses can be found in your trash folder, located in the folder view. Open the trash folder to open the deleted expense you want to see. Tap the restore icon to return it to the home view.

You can re-categorize an expense in the expense detail screen.
Where can I find an image of a receipt I snapped and saved?
You can retrieve receipt images in your profile under image gallery. Alternatively, open the associated expense and click “edit” then “choose receipt image” to link the desired image.
Who is an active user?
An active user is someone who has submitted an expense report that month. We only charge the account for active users.
How do I change my credit card?
To change your credit card go to the Account Setting tab and you'll see an edit card option.
Is there a limit on the number of users?
How much is the subscription?
We only charge $4 per active user and $4 for the company administrator. An active user is defined as someone who’s submitted an expense within the month.
When am I charged?
We will bill you every 30 days from date of sign up.
Can I select my room type?
Yes, each hotel lists available rooms so that planning your stay is effortless.
Can I book multiple rooms?
You may only book one room per reservation. However, if you need more than one room you can make as many reservations as you need.
Can I add additional guests to an existing hotel reservation?
Adding more guests to a reservation is simple. While booking you can change the number of people in your party and this will change the size and layout of rooms available. If you would like to edit a reservation after you book you may contact the call center at 833-SPENTAPP (833-773-6827)
I've just booked an online hotel reservation. Where is my confirmation?
At the end of the transaction, you will see a confirmation number. You will receive an email confirmation as well.
Are the hotel rates in US dollars?
Yes. All rates are in US dollars.

I need to change or cancel my airline reservation. How do I do this? How do I switch flights?
SPENT does not offer flight reservations. However if you booked through one of our travel partners like Priceline or Virgin America, you will need to contact them directly.
I made a car reservation on-line, do I get a confirmation voucher?
SPENT does not offer car rental reservations. However if you booked through one of our travel partners, you will receive confirmation directly from them.
When will I be charged for my hotel reservation?
You will be charged once you've booked your reservation.
Can I earn hotel points?
Points or rewards are not automatically earned when the reservation is booked through SPENT Travel. To confirm the earn policy please contact the hotel directly.
Can I apply my cash back balance towards my hotel bill?
Sorry, not at this time. But we know it's a great idea and will be adding that feature in the future.
When will I see the cash back earned from my trip in my account?
You will see the cash back pending in your cash back account after purchase and the cash back will become available to redeem 30 days after your check out.
Does SPENT offer travel insurance?
No, SPENT does not offer travel insurance at this time. However, we recommend reviewing your credit cards benefit details as many offer travel insurance as a card benefit.
Are hotel fees included?
Fees are generally included in the purchase. In the event a property does collect fees on-site that will be disclosed with the booking details.
Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners and JCB.
How do I cancel my reservation?
You may cancel your trip via the app, or by contacting the call center at 833-SPENTAPP (33-773-6827)
Can I see my trip history?
Yes. Visit "My Trips" through the app or website.
I cancelled my trip. When can I expect my refund?
All refunds are issued immediately and will be available once your bank posts to your account.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations differ for each reservation and are determined by the hotel. Cancellation policies will be shown at the time of booking.
How can I earn cash back?
Once you link an eligible credit or debit account you are ready to go. On the home screen, you select your top three brands from a list of favorites. Check the map in your cash back explorer to see what great offers are available near you, from restaurants to dry cleaners to retail shops. Plus shop through the app at most popular sites and travel booking partners.
Where’s my cash back?
You can see your cash back balance within the my profile section on the app. Each cash back purchase is listed with the amount and date when the cash back will be available to redeem.
How much do I have to spend to receive rewards or cash back?
There is no minimum spend required to earn or redeem your rewards. You start earning cash back for your first qualifying purchase with your registered card at participating locations. Cash back earn details are included in the offer details.
I requested cash back payment to my PayPal account. How long until it’s in my account?
The payment itself is close to real time. Depending on your PayPal settings, you may be required to accept the payment manually. If there are actions required you will receive an email from Paypal with instructions.
Is there a minimum I can redeem?
Yes, today you can redeem your cash when you have $20 available.
